WaveForm (“we,” “us”) operates voicetowaveform.com. This page explains what data the site does and doesn’t collect. The short version: your audio never leaves your device, and we keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site.

Your audio stays on your device

WaveForm processes microphone, uploaded, and linked audio entirely in your browser to draw and record the waveform. Your audio and the videos you create are not uploaded to us or stored on any server. They live only on your device unless you choose to share or download them.

Cookies & advertising

Free users may see ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites. We ask for your consent before any advertising cookies are set — if you decline, no ad cookies are used.

• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings.
• You can opt out of third-party vendor cookies at www.aboutads.info.
• Supporters (paying members) do not see ads, and no advertising cookies are set for them.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and does not use cookies or fingerprinting. We see aggregate counts (pageviews, rough location, referrers) but cannot identify individual visitors.

Payments

Supporter payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. To enable cross-device access, we store a signed token in your browser that references your Stripe subscription — it contains no payment data.

Local storage

The site stores small preferences in your browser (chosen skin, amplitude setting, your cookie choice, and your supporter token). This data stays in your browser and is never sent to us.

Children

WaveForm is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
